WHY goat’s milk?
Goat’s milk imparts a soothing, softening quality to our soaps.Milk has been used throughout the ages as a luxurious bath and beauty ingredient…and as a cleanser in many products. It is very gentle to your skin because goat’s milk has a pH level close to that of our own. It gives relief to dry skin problems.
Handcrafted, hand-milled HyLanders Goat Milk Soap is a cold process soap. These bars retain all of the natural glycerin from the soap making process ~ and that means the soap pulls moisture toward your skin. This effect, along with the goat’s milk, and natural oils leaves your skin feeling smooth and silky. No harsh chemicals or fillers are used.
Our goal is to produce a wonderful moisturizing soap ~ and with some of the other ingredients in some of our soaps, we have sought to add other healthful benefits. And, some soaps are just for fun! We have purposely omitted adding colors or dyes to our soaps. The varying colors are a result of the interaction with the goat’s milk, various oils, essential and fragrance oils.
NOTE: To help lengthen the life of your soap, leave the bar of soap on a soap dish that drains well and allows the soap to dry on both sides after each use.

All essential and fixed oils used are pure and not adulterated or diluted, as specified by the producers/manufacturers. We do not use carrier oils in our diffuser essential oil blends. Oils used in our products are sourced from around the world. Some items are grown here in the USA, while others come from other countries. Some oils are certified organic, but we do not claim to produce “organic” products.
We use essential and fixed oils in a lot of cosmetic applications and feel it is in our best interest to offer you a good value while retaining a quality product. We are not interested in selling handmade products at astronomical prices. We just want to offer an honest, quality product at a fair price. We only want to sell handmade products we are willing to take home and use for our own families.
